@Aurumek_ You know I love your work. There is something I can't help when I look at an illustration as rich as this one. Is there any story behind it? Do you think about a tale when making one of your creations? Even if it's something vague?

@LuisRoding Thanks a lot! There is rather loose lore in my head about the world "Argenta", but I like to keep most things rather loose, that way it feels more like exploring to me and not only as describing. 🌿

@Aurumek_ Do you think the shape of the island would protect the center from the wind, or channel the wind through it?

@frogsquadron I think it mostly protects it against the wind coming from the sea. In summer, people would probably stay in the shade or get on top of the island to feel the breeze. You probably don't want to be up there in winter though ;)

@Aurumek_ I believe there is a Horseshoe Island in Wisconsin’s, off the tip of the peninsula in Door County. I choose to believe that this picture is what it will look like in the far future, after the rise and fall of civilizations yet to appear.

@Aurumek_ This artwork evokes a feeling of familiarity just through the color and linework??? Like it gives a feeling of "home" even though it is very much a locale you made up and I have clearly never been to? 1000/10 emotionally moving art!
