People everywhere are telling me how much they want the rent to go up.
“One of the challenges we face in San Francisco is we need the rent to go back up.”
It is so refreshing to hear YIMBYs say this stuff out loud. Private developers have no plan for building new housing when rents actually go down.

My students keep asking me, "Mr. Bader, Mr. Bader, can our rent go up too?" I have to tell them "no children, those communists gave you rent control so they can't raise your rent". Then they cry.
