While being on the “black” team will get you a bit more exposure you are correct. The BJE 2023 17U “white”team sent almost all their guys to college. All levels represented from D1 to D3 and NJCAA.

And that team was damn good. 99% of the time it comes down to roster construction, team needs, who’s returning from the year prior & what the best fit is for the kid
Simply put, there’s dudes on every team

My 2021s had one d1 and 2 high level d2 (Basically d1) all not being the “black” team. Next year the 2022s sent guys all over with another d1.
The thing is Bo Jackson does such a great job at developing and having talent throughout every team. People need to understand that
