That "one job" is being a cashier, a cook, a caterer, a janitor, and more while a manager younger than you breaths down your neck.

@Akitron Worked at Burger King, a dry cleaner, a videotape factory, and as a lawyer. Going to court scared the crap out of me but the other jobs were way more demanding. And I could NEVER be a server. I would throw food at someone eventually.

@Akitron @MaraWilson Everyone who says that needs to read the book "On the Clock" by Emily Guendelsberger, specifically the part where she works at the busiest McDonald's in San Francisco during a promo event, but also just the whole thing. 15 an hour should be BARE minimum.

@Akitron I had a very respectable job at a doctor's office. After covid, my babysitter wouldn't wear a mask. i quit my job to keep my children home.. we couldn't afford it so i worked nights at taco bell. I thought it was respectable. Astounding. People are awful.
