He never had any, and his hole gole was to bring peace and have more air benders family bro was just too distracted, unlike Toph who mainly just didnt care

If both past and present collided and each meet their future counterparts, would either Aang and Toph changed their ways after seeing what kind of parent each will turned into?
@AjthreetJ
I mean Aang had no parents, and Toph had awful parents so like it makes sense why they were absent or weren't emotionally capable of being present with parenting.
@notjustbtstras1
If both past and present collided, should all the revaluations changed their younger selves?
That’s something I have thought about since I imagined what happened if two team Avatars meet in a generational crossover.

I mean, he still was. Toph was downright letting her kids do whatever, and gave them too much freedom, which led them to fight for her attention. Aang's kids agreed that he wasn't a perfect parent, but they were still happy

Well actually he does have an idea because he parented tenzin well he just didn't care enough about the other two to even try because they weren't airbenders. Aang gave his own oldest son a complex and made him always feel insecure for not deserving his dad's attention

Im just glad Kya and Bumi still had Katara, I get he had to pass down their culture to tenzin but doesnt make it right to ignore his other kids in the process, I hated how Tenzin always made excuses for Aang easier for him to do since he had his dad's attention

You can’t blame either of them tho… Toph wanted to give her daughters the freedom she never had and allow them to choose their own paths and Aang was the last of his kind and wanted to make sure his knowledge, skills, and traditions do not die with him!
