I believe the scariest part about this is how accessible they were off the creation of a fake email and a few websites. That is utterly concerning. No vetting, but eager to discuss finances and traveling to a foreign country at the drop of a hat.

How can that be the scariest part?!?
The fact that is going on is the real scandal not that they are lax about who they let through on a zoom call, which led to the revelation.

What would his role have been as a professional? Wasnāt it a consultancy firm and the guy was just a politician what did he have to offer?

3 things strike me - first the greed, the casual way they ask for/accept Ā£10k/day. Second, the gullibility to respond to the approach. Third the arrogance that they have anything really tangible thatās worth Ā£10k/day. It says a lot about the calibre of MPs.
