It is good to call things as they are. Reports are the gunman opened fire & he was KILLED. Not like it? Deal with it. Many of us are not here for the 'society failed him' excuse either. Feel free to at some point condemn the recent shooting by hoodlums of 6 women in Trelawny.

The "KILLED" tweet today says a lot about the JCF, the culture of the organization, how it sees itself and how it wants to be seen. #policing #Jamaica

@AbkaFitzHenley Its always a puzzle to me who does the human rights groups represents. They appear to me loudest when an "alleged " KILLER is KILLED ,but silent when innocent humans are killed

@AbkaFitzHenley To add to your tweet, that gunman had ample time to hand himself in just like some of the others who were wanted. I wonder what would be the narrative if he had killed one of the cops? That AK47 could’ve possibly done a lot of damage.

@AbkaFitzHenley These human rights advocates r part of the sector that failed Jamaica. We hear their cries for gunmen but never for the innocent that r often brutally murder execution style...I still believe it's time to clean the gallows or buy electric chair...

@AbkaFitzHenley The communal view that the individual should be deprived of life because of his criminal mind is “deep rot” in Jamaican society.

@AbkaFitzHenley 1. The JCF reporting what occurred and using the word ‘killed’ shouldn’t cause a normal person to make the quantum leap this woman made. Every criminal cannot be arrested - some refuse to surrender and try to kill those trying to apprehend them. If she can’t wrap her brain around

@AbkaFitzHenley The criminal onslaught in Jamaica over the last 40 years has not only killed victims physically, it has also weakened our humanity and values. Some of the comments here suggest that the criminals are winning even after death.

@AbkaFitzHenley Not a fan of this ambivalence in relation to crime. It strengthens the resolve of criminals to act with impunity. Yet we wonder why we are in such a crime ridden state. 🤷🏾‍♀️
