Embarrassment facing a Constable who twice pepper sprayed well known Retired Superintendent #AltamontCampbell for not exiting his motor vehicle when told to do so. Campbell, who's otherwise known as Parro, had told the Police he did not have his drivers license on him.

@AbkaFitzHenley It was the same "do you know who I am?" Mentality that caused him to openly disobey the officer's commands. Police perhaps used excessive force but why give him that opportunity? Simply comply with the law? Get home alive. Go see your family.

@AbkaFitzHenley @JamaicaConstab this is what I fear. I know you will have one or two individuals who will fall out of line from time to time. But improving how officers make arrests or detain individuals drastically needs improvement. This cop should have called for bkup and received assistance.

@AbkaFitzHenley He was given a lawful order, is he above the law to comply, hence the problem we have in Jamaica.

@AbkaFitzHenley That was a quick escalation. Whether to exit vehicle is lawful doesnt mean the use of force in this case pepper spray is also lawful. Step out the vehicle and when the man is getting out you spray him. Nah

@AbkaFitzHenley The pepper spray was totally unnecessary. The gentleman posed no threat to the officer. The man was sprayed while getting out of the car. How and why did it get there? This is just wrong.

@AbkaFitzHenley In the context of the video the police was wrong... The gentleman was asking him questions and the police was not in my opinion in any danger.

@AbkaFitzHenley I don't know anywhere in the law you can be arrested for not carrying their drivers license. Maybe I need to be educated but I thought you were given some days to produce it at the station.

@AbkaFitzHenley The constable had strength for an elderly gentleman who was trying to seek clarity on the matter through verbal dialogue and posed no security risk, yet every striking day the taxi men are allowed to do as they please on our public roads with no interface from the police.

@AbkaFitzHenley The man should have complied only after the officer asked for the documents of the car. The officer didn't ask for documents but for Drivers License which the man told him he didn't have it on him. To pepper spray the man in the basis of not coming out of his vehicle is wrong.
