U.S. motorsports viewership last weekend:
1) NASCAR Cup (NBCSN): 2.105 million
2) NASCAR Xfinity (NBC): 1.306 million
3) F1 (ABC): 1.225 million
4) MotoGP (NBC): 510,000
➖ F1 saw its best rating yet for the
#USGP
and out-rated Cup in the 18-49 demo (NASCAR: 354K, F1: 374K).

A lot of people were watching auto racing this past weekend. This is the larger point. But the Netflix impact on F1 cannot be under stated either.

I definitely am curious to know what sky sports rating was for the race as well just to see how many people are watching f1 globally

It’s not a surprise. NASCAR is still the biggest Motorsports Company in the USA. But, the demographics rating is the biggest thing. NASCAR, has to get start getting a younger audience.
Have a show like Drive to Survive. I have their drivers make appearance on shows…

Put the comparison to Nascar aside, that number is still a record or close to a record for F1 in the US while directly competing with Football and Nascar. People were also at the track, watching on F1tv or watching at a bar. Pretty good.

I would argue NASCAR in the 18-49 demo 300+K with football and F1 on broadcast TV is impressive. Most young people have cut cable and might not have NBCSN

what was the viewership for figure skating on NBC? I’m just tryna figure out why NBC decided to go with figure skating on NBC and not NASCAR.
