Although I love the lcqs and privateers I get where he’s coming from. I like the idea of 22 factory riders at every race and anyone not on those rides have another series they can race. It does make Sx more like other sports. It’ll never happen tho, the sport does not like change

Is it that we dont like change or that there just isnt enough market capacity. Arenacross is smallll compared to Minor League Baseball.

Saw this. What about the factory riders brought up from youth? Are they shoe ins and get the skip the Arenacross? Is the backup rider just always another factory brought up guy? Kinda leaving the privateers stuck in AX? Idk

How about this. We run a stock class and fill it with privateers so they have a league to race AND they still get to race on Saturdays. Better than sending them to a Minor league no one watches.

Or they make the mains 11 guy max and give 12-22 their own shorter main. Or basically call that the LCQ. Having fewer guys in mains would make it a lot easier to watch in stadium

Just make the main Jett riding around by himself. Everyone else should go to Arenacross where they belong.

Personally, (I've been saying this for a while now)- the privateers need their own shindig to shine on the big stage of SX. This could easily be achieved in a pretty straight forward way. Jace was overly blunt about the situation & could have worded it better, but had some points

I get what he's saying but I'm not sure if he realized Feld did at 1 time own the AX series and found it not to be worth it. So we only have SX and MX for the elite guys. I don't think his vision is sustainable, financially. But I get where he is coming from.

-Knock SX down to a 15rd series
-Combine 250 coasts to run for 10rds for 1 complete SX title
-Take privateers for the final 5 rounds (since main 250 class championship will be finished by rd 10) & let them duke it out for their own championship for the final 5 for a $100k+ payout
