I’m always amused by the ‘educate the players’ philosophy. Usually people siloed around sharps.
99% of punters want to punt.
It will never EVER not be this way.
Hopefully this tweet saves every well-intentioned sharp some time and they find meaning in life elsewhere.

Sportsbook are about to make the exact same mistakes that racetracks made by not educating their customers. A business model that revolves around people betting gimmicks and SGPs with -15% ROIs is asking for increased regulation and customer to leave the space.

hold rates have nothing to do with problem gambling, would actually say the relationship is almost entirely inverse.
