From a broadcasters perspective, it’s *possible* they were being supportive of each other for a good call. But...bare minimum it’s an uncomfortable look...

Here’s a cropped version. @ESPN actively rooting for Miami. Idiocy.

@AAllegretta Shouldn’t VT Athletics get an explanation for this?

@jrobIHS Hm. Suppose it wouldn’t hurt - even fair. But what happens if VT gets an answer it doesn’t like?

@AAllegretta Andrew. Love ya guy but they were supporting the U the entire game. It was ridiculous. VT was trashed by ESPN starting at 9:00 am on Game Day...

@AAllegretta That’s how I interpreted it too. But it’s a bad look to show them doing that during the game

@AAllegretta You are way to generous, the look in their eyes tell you they are rooting for Miami.

@AAllegretta Ahhh Mark Jones one of the announcers actually worked at a news station in Miami, so yep its possible he was rooting for the Canes.

@AAllegretta Anyone who watched this game knows that ESPNs “narrative” for this broadcast was built around Miami winning

@AAllegretta I'm all about benefits of the doubt for some things but even listening back it's not like they had some magical words to describe a friggin Hail Mary. Bias. And yes. That was the visual to support their bias all game long.

@AAllegretta This is just one example of an entire broadcast that was biased from start to finish. Anyone who watched knows this. Andrew please don’t defend this type of behavior by a broadcast team, it’s entirely unprofessional and @ESPN needs to address this and apologize to VT!!
