@914Ann In Hebrew, the word is יִמְחֶ֤ה (yim·ḥeh) Verb - Qal - Imperfect - third person masculine singular "To stroke, rub, to erase". In Hebrew, nouns are either masculine or feminine, no neutral nouns ever. So, cleaning is a man's job.

@914Ann This is hands down my favorite verse to reference when talking with trad influencers. They absolutely melt down over it every time. I was told by a woman once that I was being foolish referencing it😂 The kicker is it’s the only verse in the Bible that talks about washing dishes.
