My money is on Kahndaq, Black Adam’s country which is totally not a fictional mishmash of Kuwait and Egypt on the Sinai.
@616rachelsummer
Kahndaq—Black Adam's homeland, a fictional desert city which is even more yellow in the comics (which ig is part of the problem too really)
@616rachelsummer
Black Adam was slave from the fictional country of Khandaq, which is located on the Sinai Peninsula. The country is culturally similar to Egypt. Also, I hate that screen language for middle east is yellow filter.

Yellow can often be used to indicate heat, just as blue is used for cold. It's just a visual cue to avoid having characters walking around going "gosh, it's hot."

Well... Black Adam, Prince Khufu the Original Hawkman, Chay-Ara the Original Hawkgirl and Nabu the Original Doctor Fate all have Ancient Egyptian roots and all knew each other.

Kahndaq is in Egypt, Egypt is sunny. Colors in movies can be used to convey a ranges of emotions and different feelings. In this case yellow conveys sunny and hot. It is an exaggeration to make the movie look better and more visually interesting. Not hard to understand.
