It doesn't matter if Jane St or SBF or satoshi "engineered" UST's downfall
if it was this vulnerable to any single entity it wasn't good decentralized money

"It doesn't matter if OBL or an internal conspiracy 'engineered' the 9/11 attacks
If the Twin Towers were this vulnerable to any single entity they weren't good skyscrapers"

@ZeMariaMacedo
100%, but would’ve loved to see what had happened if the btc backstop had been implemented on-chain & if the curve pool had been fully migrated to the new one
Maybe same outcome in the end, who knows, but also it may have been much more robust after all
@0xdef1
And look at much money it took to even do that. Can only imagine if the BTC backstop had been in place. Honestly believe there were big big actors that wanted to see it fail.
@0xdef1
This where I come down on this. I believe Do Kwon has also said the same.
In the end UST relied on a centralized entity: LFG> basically Do Kwon. May 5th he sold $UST for
#btc
and then Genesis dumped it. Market forces brought it down;similar to what $si is going through right now
